The standard War Raider Mark II can be upgraded to the War Raider Mark II Advanced at a cost of 30,000 Cubits.

The ship was an in-game promotion of the televised prequel, Battlestar Galactica: Blood and Chrome. While it did not feature in the movie, it was designed as the Cylon equivalent of the Viper Mark III. The ship was first only available to US players by redeeming a code that was aired during the prequels airing. The ship was then made available worldwide at a price of 23,000 Cubits after Bigpoint and Syfy concluded negotiations to allow non US players access to the ship.

Ship Shop DescriptionEdit

"The 'Cylon War' Raider Mk II has not been seen since the First Cylon War, but recent events have seen its return into action. The Raider Mk II is the progenitor of modern Cylon Raider, deviating from the original War Raider design. More agile than the original War Raider, and slightly more durable than a Cylon Raider, the Raider Mk II would prove itself in battle against the humans time and time again. These in-combat tests proved the design concept as an interceptor, rather than multi-role fighter, was the most effective evolutionary direction for the Raiders."
