The Advanced Raptor is the upgraded version of the standard Raptor. It costs 45,000 Cubits to upgrade the ship.
The Raptor and it Cylon counter part, the Heavy Raider, are the only ships with a variant ship class, the Raptors variant being the Raptor FR (Fleet Reconnaissance). To own the Raptor FR, the Raptor must first be upgraded to its Advanced version.
