The Brimir can be upgraded to the Brimir Advanced. It is the Colonial Fleets only Carrier class vessel and can carry a maximum of nine strikes in their squad.
It is a fleet support ship that acts as a mobile Outpost for Strike class ships allowing them to dock and repair. It also acts as a stationary Outpost for Escort and Line class ships when the Role Ability, Outpost Mode, is activated, allowing them to jump directly to the carrier from any system, similar to an FTL Transponder.
